Dearest Citizens of Nowhere,

It is with great joy that we announce the creation of 'The Heart of Nowhere' a Collective of Nowhere Citizens whose interest is discussing, promoting and facilitating the sacred and spiritual aspects of Nowhere.

In aid of this, a wiki page has been created:

wiki.goingnowhere.org/2008/He...fNowhere

and a new mailing list:

lists.goingnowhere.org/mailma...nowhere

The Heart of Nowhere beats to encourage people to become aware of the potential Nowhere has to create a sense of connectedness between us and between our environment and the potential and power this has for collective and personal challenge, learning, healing, growth and joy.

There are ideas for an opening/birthing ceremony next year and a closing/release ceremony and we would like to start getting people brainstorming and getting excited about this now! We need anyone with experience or interest in rituals and ceremonies, dancers, choreographers, costume designers and makers, magicians, fire performers etc etc to step up and share their ideas and enthusiasm. Preparations for Nowhere often happen in a rushed flurry in the weeks preceding the event but there is no reason why we cannot use the rest of the year to let the spirit of Nowhere live on and create projects that are truly labours of love.

To avoid too many emails flying about and clogging peoples inboxes a Wiki discussion page has been created. The idea is that people write their thoughts down there and edit the structure as they see fit and then one of the list managers will send out a monthly email to the mailing list summarising the past month's action. This is however a bit of an experiment so let's see what happens and what works best...Please do feel free to use the list to announce any events that are specifically related to HoN.

Please join the mailing list and then go to the wiki and jot some random thoughts down! If you haven't used it before it really is incredibly simple, even I can use it!

With much love,

Ruby
