KEYNOTE ADDRESS: 4:00 – 5:00 pm:

* Nod Miller, “American Dream – Whose Nightmare?”

Nod Miller is Emeritus Professor of Innovation Studies in the University of East London, UK. She is a social scientist and adult educator with wide-ranging research interests and too many obscure academic publications to count. She has taught in universities across the globe; she has organised cabarets in Thailand, community conferences in Brazil, conflict resolution summits in Western Australia and broadcasting symposia in Manchester, England. She pioneered the use of the temporary community (like Black Rock City) as a teaching methodology in the early 1980s and her doctoral thesis was widely praised as the first kiss'n'tell Ph.D.
